This innovative partnership is set to bear fruit!

The close cooperation between Düsseldorf Airport and the EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf was presented to a large audience at the “EXPO Real” property trade fair in October. The airport company has now rented a project office in Düsseldorf’s future location.

Lars Redeligx, CEO of Düsseldorf Airport, and EUREF Board Member Reinhard Müller signed the contract in the presence of EUREF Board Member Karin Teichmann and Pradeep Alex Pinakatt, Managing Director of Düsseldorf Airport.

The airport has joined the goal of the state capital Düsseldorf to be climate-neutral by 2035. The global hub has already saved many thousands of tonnes of CO₂. Together with the EUREF community, which is dedicated to the topics of energy transition and mobility transition, the important final steps towards climate neutrality are now to be researched and taken. The new degree programmes for a sustainable future, which are being established at the EUREF Talent Campus in cooperation with the University Alliance Ruhr, consisting of the Technical University of Dortmund, Ruhr University Bochum, University of Duisburg-Essen and the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf (HSD), also play an important role in this.
