Cookies

Some of the website pages make use of so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve the purpose of making our offering more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

You can set your browser up so that you are notified about any cookies which are set, and can allow the acceptance of cookies in specific cases or exclude them in general, or activate a function to automatically delete them when you close the browser. The functionality of this website may be limited if cookies are deactivated.

Cookies which are necessary for carrying out the electronic communication process or for providing the specific functions you desire (e.g. the shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Article 6 Section 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for provision of services which is technically error-free and optimized. Inasmuch as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this Privacy Policy.

SERVER LOG FILES

The provider of the website pages automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us. This information consists of:

  • URL accessed
  • Time of the server enquiry
  • Anonymized IP address

There will be no allocation of this data to other data sources.

The basis for the data processing is Article 6 Section 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or precontractual measures.

The processing of the data provided in the contact form is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Article 6 Section 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. A simple message sent to us by email is sufficient. The legality of the data processing measures taken up to the point in time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered by you in the contact form remains with us until you request that we delete it, you revoke your consent to its storage or the reason for the data’s storage no longer applies (e.g. after processing of your enquiry has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – especially storage periods – remain unaffected.

4. ANALYTICS TOOLS AND ADVERTISING

Google Analytics

Inasmuch as you have granted consent, Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”) is used on this website. The use includes the operating type “Universal Analytics”. This makes it possible to allocate data, sessions and interactions across several devices to a pseudonymized user ID and thus analyse a user’s activities across devices. This privacy information is made available by www.intersoft-consulting.de.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are placed on your computer and which support analysis of how you use the website. As a rule, the information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on a server in the USA. In the case that IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, within the area of Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, your IP address will be truncated prior to this by Google. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be first transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. We point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended to include IP anonymization in order to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). The IP address that your browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google. For more information on the terms and conditions of use and data privacy, please refer to https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and/or https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

Reasons for processing
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activities and providing other services relating to website usage and Internet usage for the website operator.

Legal basis
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is your consent as per
Article 6 Section 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

Recipient / Recipient categories
The recipient of the collected data is Google.

Transfer to third states
The personal data is transferred to the USA under the EU-US Privacy Shield on the basis of the adequacy decision of the European Commission. You can access the certificate here.

Term of data storage
The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user IDs or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose term of storage has expired is automatically deleted once a month.

Rights of data subjects
You can revoke your consent at any time, effective in the future, if you prevent cookies from being saved by selecting the appropriate browser software settings; we point out, however, that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

In addition, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) for transmission to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing this browser plug-in. Opt-out cookies will prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. In order to prevent collection via Universal Analytics across various devices, you have to opt out on all the systems used. If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set: Disable Google Analytics

5. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the Newsletter offered on the website, we require your email address as well as information which allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address specified and that you consent to receiving the Newsletter. Further data is not collected, or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We will use this data only for sending the requested information and will not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data provided in the Newsletter registration form is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Article 6 Section 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data and email address as well as its use for sending the Newsletter at any time, e.g. via the “Cancel” link in the Newsletter. The legality of the data processing measures already taken remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data stored about you in connection with the subscription to the Newsletter will be stored by us until cancellation by you and deleted after you unsubscribe. Data which has been stored with us for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members section) remains unaffected by this.

6. Plugins and Tools

YouTube

Our website uses plug-ins belonging to the YouTube website operated by Google. The operator of the website pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

When you visit one of our website pages which contains a YouTube plug-in, a connection is set up to the servers from YouTube. The YouTube server is notified as to which of our website pages you have visited.

If you are logged onto your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to relate your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

The use of YouTube is in the interest of providing an appealing representation of our online offering. This constitutes a legitimate interest in the context of Article 6 Section 1 lit. f GDPR.

You will find more information on the handling of user data in YouTube’s privacy policy under: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Vimeo

Furthermore, some content from the Vimeo platform is integrated. This kind of integration always requires that the providers of this content (referred to as “third-party providers” in the following) know the users’ IP address. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send content to the browser of the corresponding user. The IP address is therefore necessary for representation of the content. https://vimeo.com/privacy

7. USE OF WEB FONTS

External fonts, referred to as Google Fonts, are used on these website pages. Google Fonts is a service of Google Inc. (“Google”). The integration of these web fonts is carried out by means of server access, generally to a Google server in the USA. As a result, the server is provided with information as to which of website pages you have visited. Likewise, the browser IP address of the end device of the visitor to these website pages is stored by Google. Please refer to Google’s privacy policies for more detailed information:
